Dreyer Welcomes New Cardiologist, Siddharth A. Kakodkar, M.D.

Siddharth A. Kakodkar, M.D., has joined the Department of Cardiology at Dreyer Medical Clinic, and is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Highland location and Rush-Copley Campus. Dr. Kakodkar received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in California in 2000 and his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2007. He completed his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 2012. Dr. Kakodkar is board certified in Internal Medical and Cardiovascular Disease and has hospital privileges at both Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and the Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Kakodkar has special interest in Implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, or cardiac resynchronization therapy devices; as well as ablation of simple and complex arrhythmias.
