Dreyer Welcomes New Hospitalist

Julianna E. Eshbach, M.D. has joined Dreyer’s Internal Medicine department as a Hospitalist.  Dr. Eshbach received her undergraduate degree from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania in 1990, and her graduate degree with Jefferson eshbach_julieMedical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1994.  She finished her residency in internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois in 1998.  Dr. Eshbach is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine, and is certified in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Eshbach is part of the medical staff at Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center.

Dreyer Medical Clinic launched its hospitalist program in 1997 to optimize care for inpatients.  Dreyer’s twelve hospitalists spend all of their time caring for Dreyer patients at the Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center.  Research has shown hospitalists can reduce hospital stay costs and length of stays while improving the quality of patient care and satisfaction.
