Dreyer Medical Clinic Announces New Vice President of Finance

Dreyer Medical Clinic is pleased to announce they have welcomed a new VP of Finance.  Yul Garcés, CPA, officially began his role on August 23, 2010.  Mr. Garcés brings 15 years of finance, accounting, operational, information technology, and business development experience.  His office will be located at Dreyer’s Administration building, at 1877 West Downer Place in Aurora. “We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Garcés to Dreyer and anticipate that his varied health care, financial, and IT experience will provide a rounded and innovative perspective,” says Dreyer’s President, Donna Cooper, CPA, MHA. Yul Garcés graduated Summa Cum Laude from Luther College of Decorah, Iowa, with a bachelor of arts in accounting and economics in 1995.  He minored in computer science.  His professional certifications include certified public accountant, certified information systems auditor, and certified internal auditor.  Mr. Garcés began his career as a Commercial Insurance Accountant with Allstate Insurance Company in Northbrook, Illinois.  He spent seven years with Motorola Corporation in Schaumburg, Illinois, in positions including Corporate IT Auditor, General Accounting Manager, and Plant Controller.  He then became Division Controller of First Health/Coventry for Coventry Health Care in Downers Grove.  In 2007, Garcés became the Senior Director of Operations at Coventry Health Care for Medicare, Drug Utilization, and Prescription Review Programs.
