Laura V. Pineiro-Avila, M.D., Joanne M. Sarroza, D.O., and Mario A. Zapata, M.D. are now physicians of Dreyer Medical Clinic. The former Associated Women’s Health office located at Indian Trail and Orchard Road is now Dreyer’s new “Orchard Road” site – 2424 W. Indian Trail Rd., Suite A, Aurora, 60506. The three Spanish-speaking physicians are available at the Orchard Road, Rush-Copley Campus, and Yorkville Dreyer locations.
Laura V. Pineiro-Avila, M.D., is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Rush-Copley Campus and Yorkville locations. Dr. Pineiro-Avila received an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana in 1995, and earned a medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1999. She completed a residency in obstetrics/gynecology from Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 2003. Dr. Pineiro-Avila is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology, and has hospital privileges with Rush-Copley Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association.
Joanne M. Sarroza, D.O., is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Orchard Road and Rush-Copley Campus locations. Dr. Sarroza received an undergraduate degree from Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois in 1992, and earned a medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois in 1997. She completed an internship with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 1998, and a residency with Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Olympia Fields, Illinois in 2002. Dr. Sarroza is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology, and has hospital privileges with and Rush-Copley Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Osteopathic Association.
Mario A. Zapata, M.D., is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Orchard Road and Rush-Copley Campus locations. Dr. Zapata received an undergraduate degree in 1967 and earned a medical degree in 1977 from the Universidad Autonoma in San Luis Potosi, Mexico in 1967. He completed an internship in social medicine from the Instituto Mexicano Del Seguro Social in San Louis Potosi, Mexico in 1979, and a residency in obstetrics/gynecology from Columbus Cuneo Cabrini Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 1983. Dr. Zapata is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology, and has hospital privileges with Rush-Copley Medical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Illinois State Medical Society. |
