Dreyer Physicians Certified by Professional Boards

Lawrence E. Alberti, M.D., pulmonologist, has been certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  Dr. Alberti joined Dreyer Medical Clinic in 1985, and sees patients at the Clinic’s Highland location. He received an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1974, and earned a medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1980.  Dr. Alberti completed his residency training with the VA Hines Hospital in Hines, Illinois; MacNeal Memorial Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois; and the University of Illinois/College of Medicine in Chicago.  He has hospital affiliations with Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical center.  Dr. Alberti is also board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.

Deslyn S. Browne, M.D., obstetrician/gynecologist, has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics/Gynecology.  Dr. Browne joined Dreyer Medical Clinic in 2007, and sees patients at the Clinic’s Oswego and Rush-Copley Campus locations.  She received an undergraduate degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1999, and earned a medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2003.  Dr. Browne completed a residency with St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit in 2007.  She has hospital privileges with Rush-Copley Medical Center.  Dr. Browne is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association. 

Padmaja Gutti, M.D., neurologist, has been certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  Dr. Gutti joined Dreyer Medical Clinic in 2009, and sees patients at the Clinic’s Fox Valley Villages location.  She received an undergraduate degree and a medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India in 1999.  Dr. Gutti completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois/Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in 2005, and completed a residency in neurology with the University of Illinois in Chicago in 2009.  She is also board certified in internal medicine.  Dr. Gutti has hospital affiliations with Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center.  She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Neurology. 

Wailam A. Kwok, M.D., Ph.D., cardiologist, has been board certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  Dr. Kwok joined Dreyer Medical Clinic in 2006, and sees patients at the Clinic’s Highland and Rush-Copley Campus locations.  He received an undergraduate degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio in 1986, and a Master of Science in Bioengineering degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1990.  Dr. Kwok received a Doctor of Science in Bioengineering degree from Pennsylvania State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1994, and he earned a medical degree from the University of Illinois/College of Medicine in Chicago in 2000.  He completed a residency at Pennsylvania State University/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 2003, and completed a fellowship with the University of Illinois in Chicago in 2006.  Dr. Kwok is also board certified in internal medicine and nuclear cardiology.  He has hospital affiliations with Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center.  Dr. Kwok is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society.
