Roy G. Henderson, M.D., has joined the Department of Orthopaedics at Dreyer Medical Clinic, and is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Mercy Campus location.
Dr. Henderson received his undergraduate degree from San Jose University in San Jose, California in 1981. He earned a medical degree from Charles R. Drew/UCLA Medical School in Los Angeles, California in 1987. Dr. Henderson completed an internship in 1988 and a residency in 1990 at the University of California San Francisco/Valley Medical Center in Fresno, California. He completed two fellowships - one in sports medicine with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio in 1993, and one in faculty development with St. Margaret Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1996. Dr. Henderson received a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1996. He is board certified in sports medicine and family medicine. Dr. Henderson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine. |
