According to Donna Cooper, President of Dreyer, “This discount program offers assistance to patients who either lost their insurance, cannot afford insurance, opted not to take insurance, or who have not been offered the opportunity to purchase insurance.  The number of people in these situations is rising, and Dreyer is ready to help them by discounting out-of-pocket costs for their health care.”

Patients without insurance have the opportunity to receive a discount on certain services if payment is made in full within the established timelines of 30, 60, or 90 days.  Discount percentages have been established for professional fees for office visits, surgical procedures, laboratory tests, imaging, medical supplies, drugs, and other Clinic services.  The discounts range from 3% to 55% depending on the type of service.  Patients can pay with cash, check, or credit card, as long as they do so within the established time frame.  A message on billing statements notifies patients of their eligibility under the policy.

Dreyer also provides payment plans and information on financial resources for those patients in need.
