Jon E. Christofersen, M.D., was re-elected to an eighth term as Chairman of the Dreyer Medical Clinic physician group Board of Directors.
Dr. Christofersen is a board certified family medicine physician who sees patients in the Occupational Health and Walk-In Care departments. A resident of Batavia, Dr. Christofersen also serves on the Advocate Health Care Board of Directors. Serving as officers along with Dr. Christofersen are Jon R. Doud, M.D., as Vice Chairman, and Lorene S. Eckberg, M.D., as Secretary/Treasurer. Dr. Doud, an Oswego resident, practices pulmonary medicine at the Clinic’s Highland location. Dr. Eckberg, a Batavia resident, is a pediatrician who sees patients at Clinic’s Fox Valley Villages site. The following physicians are serving as directors: Ronald G. Bosh, M.D., of Geneva, internist at the Batavia site; Navinchandra J. Dodhia, M.D., of Aurora, a nephrologist at the West Aurora site; William J. O’Brien, M.D., of Aurora, a surgeon at Highland; and John O. Palmer, M.D., of Yorkville, internist at the West Aurora and Fox Valley Villages sites. Ex-officio members of the board include Donna Cooper, President; William Birch, Vice President of Operations; Fred Nelson, Vice President of Finance; Charles L. Derus, M.D., Medical Director; and Anil Keswani, M.D., Associate Medical Director. Dreyer’s seven-member board of practicing physicians provides clinical leadership for the multi-specialty group. Currently, there are more than 140 physicians representing 26 specialties. Dreyer Medical Clinic physicians have been caring for families from the greater Fox Valley area since 1922. The doctors see patients at 12 office facilities conveniently located in seven different communities – Aurora, Batavia, Hinckley, Oswego, Plainfield, St. Charles, and Yorkville. |
