• Subacute Rehabilitation
  Some nursing homes may provide skilled nursing care after an injury or hospital stay. They also offer different kinds of therapies to help a person recover after and illness or surgery. Patients typically stay for a short period of time and then transition back home or to an assisted living or custodial care facility.
• Nursing Home/Long-Term Custodial
  Nursing homes provide 24-hour care to people who cannot take care of themselves due to physical,
  emotional, or mental problems. A wide range of nursing care, personal care, and medical services are included, such as dressing, bathing, and using the bathroom.
• Palliative Care
  Palliative care is focused on providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness—whatever the diagnosis. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family at any stage of the patient’s illness.
