Ancillary Services include those departments and functions that supplement and support the clinical care provided by the medical departments.

Ambulatory Surgery Center

The Dreyer Ambulatory Surgery Center, a joint venture with Provena Mercy Medical Center, was established in 1993. The 16,300-square-foot facility is located on the lower level of the Clinic’s Mercy Campus site. It is licensed, staffed and equipped to perform dozens of types of outpatient surgeries, from arthroscopic procedures to endoscopies. Dreyer Cancer Center

The Dreyer Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art treatment area, constructed in 2002 as an addition to the Mercy Campus facility. Patients provided input into the design and décor. The center offers the latest in technology, patient comfort, and on-site oncology treatment. The physicians at the Dreyer Cancer Center are highly respected specialists in adult oncology and hematology, and the nursing staff and other associates are all specially trained professionals in oncology treatment. Dreyer OnCall

Dreyer OnCall (630-906-5000) is a call center staffed by trained customer service representatives to assist patients with access for appointments and messages, as well as detailed information about the Clinic's providers and services. Representatives are available from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Esthetician Services

Esthetician services are available from the Dermatology Department at the West Aurora and Fox Valley Villages facilities. Spa services by licensed staff include facials, waxing, microdermabrasion treatments, and consultations for skin problems, aging skin, and acne. Appointments are available weekdays, evenings, and on Saturdays by calling 630-859-6864. In addition, a line of professional skin care products may be purchased at selected sites.

Healing Garden

The Dreyer Medical Clinic Healing Garden was created as a mini-oasis for patients with cancer who are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment and their families. Located in the open space between the Dreyer Cancer Center and River West Radiation Therapy Center on the north side of the Mercy Campus facility at 1221 North Highland Avenue, Aurora, the garden was designed with input from patients and staff. The garden is entirely supported by contributions through Advocate Charitable Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation. Gifts for the Healing Garden should be designated as such and mailed to the foundation at 205 West Touhy, Suite 225, Park Ridge, Illinois, 60068.

Home Medical Equipment

Dreyer Home Medical Equipment is a full service equipment and medical supplies company. The retail showroom is located on the first floor of Dreyer's Mercy Campus. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Call 630-264-8787 for more information.

Imaging Suites

The Imaging Suites provide mammography and ultrasound services. They are located on the lower level of the Mercy Campus facility. The overall goal of the department is to provide Dreyer patients with state-of-the-art technology and convenient personal and individualized interaction and information. Laboratories

Seven Clinic sites have blood collection stations: West Aurora, Fox Valley Villages, Mercy Campus, Batavia, Oswego, Plainfield, and Yorkville.

MyChart

MyChart is a free and secure interactive service available to certain established Dreyer patients through the Clinic’s electronic medical record (EMR) system. MyChart allows a patient to request a refill, view test results, request an appointment, message their doctor, and much more. If you are 18 or older you can sign up for MyChart during an appointment or call your provider’s office to ask about MyChart. Proxy access is available for patients under 12 years old. An access code will be generated and you will receive a letter with instructions on how to complete the sign-up process and log in to MyChart. If participating MyChart patients have problems with access or questions about how to use MyChart, they may telephone 630-906-5161 for assistance. Occupational Health Services

Occupational medicine specialists provide comprehensive, cost effective, quality health care services for businesses and industries. Services include, but are not limited to, the following: treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses with follow-up care, physicals and medical evaluations such as those required by DOT and OSHA, drug and alcohol testing with MRO and consortium service, hearing and vision screening, PFTs, promotion of healthier lifestyles via on-site health education and wellness programs, and ergonomic evaluations.

Optical Center

The Dreyer Optical Center is full-service, with experienced and qualified staff dedicated to providing personalized vision care. The most up-to-date eyeglasses are available, along with a large selection of the latest designer, children's, safety, and economy frames. The optometric staff also is committed to total eye care, and provides the most up-to-date contact lens materials and design to ensure perfect vision and good eye health. Pharmacy

The pharmacy facility within the West Aurora site is operated independently from Dreyer Medical Clinic. The pharmacists maintain a medication profile on all registered patients and can provide you with detailed records as well as product information sheets for the medications prescribed. The pharmacy can be reached at 630-892-4284 or 800-834-5960. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Radiology Services

Radiology services are currently available at five Dreyer facilities: West Aurora, Oswego, Fox Valley Villages, Mercy Campus, and Batavia. Dreyer's board certified radiologists are highly trained and skilled in a broad range of subspecialities, including diagnostic radiology, vascular and interventional radiology, and neuroradiology. Rehabilitation Services

Rehabilitation Services offers comprehensive outpatient physical and occupational therapy for a variety of musculoskeletal, neurologic, pediatric, and sports related problems. The therapists are dedicated to providing high quality, individualized treatment including instruction and training to maximize health and function. Lymphedema management is provided by certified lymphedema therapists. Work conditioning, a program that addresses the physical issues of flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, and work-related function, and functional capacity evaluations are offered at our Batavia site with the goal of helping injured workers return to work. Post offer job screenings are also available. Services provided at company sites include: job analysis and worksite assessments, functional biomechanics training, and ergonomic consulting.

River West Radiation Therapy Center

The River West Radiation Therapy Center, a joint venture with Rush-Copley Medical Center, opened in April of 2005 and houses a CT scanner and a state-of-the-art Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy unit. It is located across from the Dreyer Cancer Center on the north side of the Clinic’s Mercy Campus facility at 1221 North Highland Avenue in Aurora. A healing garden for patients undergoing treatment was created in the open space between the two operations. Call 630-264-8659.

Walk-In Care

Dreyer has three sites where you can receive walk-in treatment for minor, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. No appointment is necessary. Visits may be slightly more expensive than a regular Clinic appointment, but are much less costly than a visit to a typical emergency room. Patients enrolled in certain types of insurance plans may be required to obtain authorization from their HMO/PPO, and/or make a copayment for treatment when they arrive.
