Karen J. Chorvat,
M.D. , has joined
the Department of Pediatrics at Dreyer Medical Clinic and is seeing patients at
the Clinic’s Oswego site.
Dr. Chorvat received her undergraduate degree in 2000 from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois. She earned her medical degree from
Rush Medical College in Chicago,
Illinois, in 2004, and completed a residency at
Rush University Medical Center in Chicago in 2008, where she was Chief Resident
from 2007 to 2008. She has hospital affiliations with Delnor-Community Hospital, Provena Mercy
Medical Center, and Rush-Copley Medical Center. Dr. Chorvat is board certified in
pediatrics and offers Saturday and evening hours. Her special interests include
asthma, newborn care, and sports medicine.
Robert G. Ireland, D.O. , has joined the Walk-In care Department at Dreyer Medical Clinic’s Batavia, Fox Valley Villages, and West Aurora sites. Dr. Ireland received his undergraduate degree in 1983 from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, and earned a medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, in 1988. Dr. Ireland completed a residency in 1991 from LaGrange Memorial Hospital in LaGrange, Illinois. Dr. Ireland is board certified in family medicine. In case Dr. Ireland’s name sounds familiar, his brother Dr. Charles Ireland also works for the Clinic in the Walk-In Care Department. Joseph A. Kmiecik, M.D., Ph.D. , (pronounced kim-E-shek), has joined the Department of Radiology at Dreyer Medical Clinic. Dr. Kmiecik attended the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois, where he earned an undergraduate degree in 1989, a Ph.D. in Biophysics and Computational Biology in 1996, and a medical degree in 1997. He also completed an internship there in 1999. He attended the University of California in San Francisco, California, where he completed a diagnostic radiology residency in 2003, and a neuroradiology fellowship in 2004. Dr. Kmiecik is board certified in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology. His special interests include diagnostic radiology, neuroradiology, and MR spectroscopy. Michael Radtke, M.D. , has joined the Department of Allergy at Dreyer Medical Clinic and is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Fox Valley Villages and West Aurora sites. Dr. Radtke attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois where he received an undergraduate degree in 1999 and a medical degree in 2003. He completed a residency in 2006 and a fellowship in 2008 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Radtke is board certified in internal medicine and offers Saturday and evening hours. Dr. Radtke has hospital affiliations with Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center. Nancy E. Rifenburg, M.D. , has joined the Department of Radiology at Dreyer Medical Clinic. Dr. Rifenburg received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1996. She earned her medical degree from Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois, in 2002, and completed an internship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, in 2003. Dr. Rifenburg completed a residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, in 2007, and completed a fellowship at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 2008. Dr. Rifenburg is board certified in diagnostic radiology. |
