Priya Priyadarshini, M.D., pronounced PREE-uh-dar-SHEE-nee, has joined
the Department of Infectious Diseases at Dreyer Medical Clinic, and is
seeing patients at the Clinic’s West Aurora location.
Dr. Priyadarshini completed her medical degree at Rajendra Medical College in Ranchi, Bihar, India, in 1995. She completed two internal medicine residencies – one at Raritan Bay Medical Center in New Jersey, in 2002, and one at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2003. She completed a fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, in 2006. Dr. Priyadarshini is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She has hospital affiliations with Provena Mercy Medical Center and Rush-Copley Medical Center. Her special interests include HIV medicine and tropical infectious diseases.
Dr. Priyadarshini was born in Darbhanga, India, and currently resides in Aurora with her husband and two sons. She enjoys biking, swimming, and traveling with her family. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Disease Society of America, and the American Medical Association. |
