Dreyer Medical Clinic is proud to announce that 17 associates have been named MVP Value Leaders for 2007.
MVP stands for Mission, Values, and Philosophy, which indicates the system-wide behaviors practiced at all the sites that are affiliated with the Advocate Health Care system. The five values included as a part of our MVP are compassion, equality, excellence, partnership, and stewardship.
Dreyer’s MVP Value Leaders were selected by a committee from literally hundreds of nominations received from patients and co-workers throughout 2007. Two individuals were recognized for Compassion. Lynn Bauer, R.N., a Yorkville resident, works in Walk-In Care at the Batavia site, and Debbie Schwartz, R.N., Site Manager at West Aurora, lives in Sugar Grove. Susie Tompkins, R.N., of Waterman was chosen for the Equality award. She is a nurse in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Mercy Campus. Selected as MVP value leaders in the Excellence category were Shirley Easley, R.N., and Linda Buba, R.N., from the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Mercy Campus. Easley is a resident of Sugar Grove and Buba is a resident of Geneva. Recognized for Partnership was a group of 11 associates from the Radiology Department at Mercy Campus. Staff included Amy Ashby of Plano; Patricia Babbitt, Kara Johnson, and Nathalee Moyer of Yorkville; Varinia Godoy of North Aurora; Linda Morano and Stacey Spooner of Aurora; Laura Rutschman of Woodridge; Stephanie Ryan of St. Charles; Sonja Washburn of Big Rock; and Connie Whelehon of Sandwich. For the Stewardship value, the selection committee recognized Beata Adamczyk of Yorkville. Adamczyk is a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Mercy Campus. “By living our values, we fulfill our mission of including an expression of concern for each of our patients as an individual member of the human family,” said Donna S. Cooper, MHA, CPA, President of Dreyer Medical Clinic. “The core values of compassion, equality, excellence, partnership, and stewardship guide our actions as we work together to provide progressive, cost-effective health care services to others in our community.” |
