Jon E. Christofersen, M.D., an Occupational Health physician, was recertified by the American Board of Physicians Specialties.
Dr. Christofersen sees patients at both Occupational Health Services and Walk-In Care at the Clinic’s Batavia, Fox Valley Villages, and West Aurora sites. He joined Dreyer in 1985 and has been board certified since 1996. He earned an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1978, and earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois, in 1981. Dr. Christofersen completed a residency at Michigan State University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 1983. He is Dreyer’s Chairman of the Board, and holds memberships with the American Medical Association, the Illinois State Medical Society, and the Kane County Medical Society.
Alan C. Jacobson, M.D., rheumatologist, was recertified by the American Board of Rheumatology. Dr. Jacobson joined Dreyer in 2005 and is certified in both Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Jacobson graduated summa cum laude from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, in 1987, and received his medical degree in 1991 from SUNY Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, New York. In 1994, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. He then completed a fellowship in rheumatology in 1996 at George Washington University in Washington D.C. Dr. Jacobson is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He sees patients at the Clinic’s West Aurora location and offers evening hours. |
