Dreyer Medical Clinic Welcomes New President

Dreyer Medical Clinic is pleased to announce a new president. Donna S. Cooper CPA, MHA, officially began her role on November 5, 2007. Ms. Cooper brings 11 years of health care experience, ranging from health care plans and hospitals to large multispecialty group practices.

Ms. Cooper began her career as a Tax Consultant with Arthur Andersen in Chicago, Illinois. She spent two years with John Deere Health Care in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She then became Vice President of Payor and Provider Relations for St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. In 1999, she joined the Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa in Cedar Rapids where she worked as their Chief Financial Officer before becoming Chief Executive Officer.

Donna Cooper graduated with honors from the University of Iowa, in Iowa City with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting in 1992. In 1996, she earned a master of health administration degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where she was the recipient of the Whitson Award for Highest GPA. Ms. Cooper lives in Batavia with her husband and three children.
