Dreyer Adds Family Practitioner at Hinckley Site

Matthew B. Jennings, M.D., a board certified family practice physician, has joined the Dreyer Medical Clinic office in Hinckley. A graduate of West Point in 1987, Dr. Jennings received his medical degree in 1992 from the Uniformed Services of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland. He then completed both an internship and residency in family practice at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia.

From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Jennings practiced at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. From 2000 to 2005, he provided care to military personnel at the Clark Health Clinic, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He has additional experience with several emergency care operations in both North Carolina and New York.

From 2003 to 2004, Dr. Jennings served as Battalion Surgeon for the 82nd Airborne Division during combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded the Combat Medical Badge and Bronze Star Medal for actions during combat. He completed his military career as Chief of Family Practice at Fort Drum, New York, from 2005 to 2007.

Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Jennings is the recipient of several awards, including the Concerned Provider Patient Care Award (1996) and Employee of the Year at Clark Health Clinic, Fort Bragg, North Carolina (2001).

Founded by physicians in 1922, Dreyer Medical Clinic has nearly 130 doctors that see patients at 12 convenient office locations throughout the greater Fox Valley area.
