Dreyer Welcomes Four New Providers

Bruce I. Kilstein, D.O., a board certified urologist, joined the Department of Urology at Dreyer Medical Clinic’s Mercy Campus location. Dr. Kilstein received his undergraduate degree in 1986 from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1990, and completed an internship at Community Hospital of Lancaster in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1991. In 1993, he completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, and in 1996, he completed a second residency in urologic surgery at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Kilstein is a member of the American Urological Association and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.

 
Kara N. Roman, M.M.S., P.A.-C, a certified physician assistant, has joined Walk-In Care at Dreyer Medical Clinic’s Batavia, Fox Valley Villages, and West Aurora locations. She received her undergraduate degree in 1990 at Houghton College in Houghton, New York, and earned her physician assistant degree from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 1997. Ms. Roman was certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in 1997, and became recertified in 2006. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistant Education Association.

Jonathan E. Sachs, M.D., has joined the Internal Medicine Department at Dreyer Medical Clinic, and is seeing patients at the Clinic’s West Aurora location. Dr. Sachs completed his undergraduate degree in 2000 at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania, and earned his medical degree in 2004 at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed an internship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, in 2005. He also completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in June of this year, where he was named Senior Resident of the Year and Teaching Resident of the Year.

Sharon Shieh, P.A.-C, a certified physician assistant, has joined Dreyer’s Department of Internal Medicine and is seeing patients at the Clinic’s Oswego site. Ms. Shieh completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois in 1989. She earned her physician assistant degree in 1994 from Malcolm X College in Chicago, and was certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants the same year.  She was also recertified in 2001. Before joining Dreyer, Ms. Shieh spent over 12 years with Cermak Health Services in Chicago.
