|Dreyer Welcomes Concussion Expert to Sports Medicine|
Aurora, Ill – Marc P. Hilgers, MD, PhD, FAAFP, has joined the orthopaedics team at Advocate Dreyer Medical Clinic as a sports medicine physician and the Associate Director of Sports Medicine. His special interests include concussions, sports medicine, performance enhancement, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.
The American Journal of Sports Medicine recently reported that the rate of concussions in U.S. high school athletes more than doubled between 2005 and 2012. Advocate Dreyer is thrilled to bring an expert to the Fox Valley area to serve local athletes and ensure safe return to sports.
